Role Description:
CIO CAO is an area within the Group CIO, which is responsible for creating and delivering world class solutions in HR, Legal and Corporate Communications for the Bank.
CIO CAO PMO team is responsible for understand and manage the overall IT Strategy and corresponding Book of Work and run the Project & Program Management practice i.e. Seamlessly Managing & Control Finances, Resources, Risks, Issues, Governance & Compliance with timely and effective Communications to support Business and Technology Teams Globally. Our aim is to deliver the sustainable, trusted, quality and timely project & program management support using different tools, reports to create and facilitate effective and positive impact on our customers world-wide.
The successful candidate would have a recognized and proven experience in project & program management area with extensive exposure in managing, delivering end-to-end IT Strategy & Change Investments i.e. Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile Methodologies, whilst directly managing business stakeholders, resources, governance, compliance, schedule & cost. The candidate will need to have a strong exposure on Data Science and Analytics, Management Reporting, Communication, Relationship building and influencing skills to complement PMO teams skills.
Hands on exposure on project & program management tools: CA-Clarity, HP-PPM, MS-Project, MS-SharePoint, MS-Visio & MS-Office Suite will be a plus.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
- IT Project & Program Financials:
- Managing and maintaining end2end portfolio financials for CIO area i.e. Managing both Cash & P&L views for Senior IT & Business Stakeholders
- Perform Annual Budgeting & periodic Forecasting activities to understand and showcase variances leads to insightful commentaries for CIO Management team
- Tying back Purchase Requests/Orders to agreed project budgets and predict the future variances in advance
- Perform forward planning on project finances and take necessary measures to avoid any variances under different cost allocation heads
- Understand and implement portfolio level IT to Business Charge-back mechanism
- IT Project & Program Resourcing:
- Headcount reporting and aligning the same to approved/agreed ToM for CIO area and perform planning of resources under required projects/programs as per agreed levels/strategy i.e. Managing both Internal & External work-force
- Track Resource(s) Chargeability Task & Team Management and to gain complete control on Capitalization mechanism for CIO area
- IT Project & Program Governance & Compliance:
- Adhering to Organizations CGF practices to ensure Change Governance Framework being implemented in CIO area and all programs remains compliant all the time
- Adhering to Organizations KPI practices to ensure all agreed KPIs being implemented in CIO area and all programs following the best practices and have been delivering against agreed KPIs
- Adhering to Organizations Vendor Governance practices to ensure VG Framework being implemented in CIO area and all programs/resources remains compliant all the time
- Management Information Reporting & Data Analytics:
- Understand Organizations Data Golden Sources and perform Data Analytics on large amount of data dumps to create meaningful interpretations from raw/unstructured and structured data i.e. Performing Hindsight; Insight and Foresight Analytics e.g. Current Vs Future State; Trend Analysis, Predictive Analysis etc.
- Perform meaningful information/reporting to CIO Management Team on periodic and Ad-hoc basis. E.g. Financial Dashboards; HC Analysis etc.
Experience | Exposure (Recommended):
- 8-12 years experience of project & program management practices in IT industry
- 8-12 years experience of performing duties closely in SDLC / Agile methodologies space
- Strong Data Analytical Skills & Management Reporting background
- Proficient and Effective Communication and Influencing Skills
- Open to learn and work on new dimensions in IT-Strategy space
- Keeps pace with Technical Innovations
- Fluent in English (written/verbal)
- Excellent Team Player
- Understanding of MS Office Suite, MS Visio, MS Project Planner, CA Clarity
