Job Summary Position: Senior Technical Consultant, Process Technology. Worley consulting is seeking a consultant to work within our Power to X service line part of our Chemicals and Fuels practice. The candidate(s) will be a member of the team providing strategic consulting services to the power, refining, chemicals and financial sectors. The role will initially be focusing predominantly on Power to X technologies and clients but have exposure to all sectors as opportunities arise. We deliver the world s most complex projects. The experienced candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of more than one of the following activities: Techno-economic concept and feasibility studies, Process technology (Ammonia, Methanol, Hydrogen along with synthesis gas generation technologies or SAF) and/or Operations experience, Project implementation and monitoring, Capital investments. The role provides opportunities to tailor bespoke services to suit a diverse set of clients, working to deliver services, participating in business development and to be a key member of the practice. Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: Proactively provide support and assistance, across a broad range of projects and tasks, that will from time to time include working on the following: Feasibility studies for major greenfield / brownfield Power to X investments. Sustainability and energy transition projects across the downstream sector, including Power to X. Consulting services during all phases of an engagement, including benchmarking, gap analysis, solution identification, justification, prioritization, ranking, implementation and close out; Licensor screening and selection. Assistance to specialist teams with lenders advisory activities. Support our single-client market services offering. Assist with teams marketing and business development activities for consulting services and support the growth of the business, including developing proposals Experience The candidate must demonstrate competency and experience in the following: Able to work within a sell-do model. Strong self-starter and motivated to succeed. Practical consulting experience including scoping, selling and delivery. Experience of Chemicals technologies, with preference for Ammonia, Methanol or SAF. Excellent communication skills including ability to produce concise reports and presentations appropriate for all levels. Confidence to work at all levels of a client organization. Desire to expand role and be adaptable to client s needs. Support the preparation of proposals, execution plans and budgets. Supports a continuous improvement culture and identifies gaps, develops work processes, tools and methodologies to drive productivity and growth. The candidate should ideally also be able to demonstrate experience in one or more of the following services areas: Feasibility and configuration studies, Process understanding and modelling, Industry competitiveness/awareness, Power to X integration, from Power Generation through to X production, Technology vendors/licensors, evaluation and selection Petrochemical asset operations, Financial analysis, Technical due diligence.
