Job Description ( SAP Developer)

As an SAP Developer focusing on GUI Automation and Data Mining, you'll play a pivotal role in streamlining operations and decision-making processes for the organization. Your work will optimize SAP solutions, enhance user experience, and provide valuable insights that drive strategic objectives.

Work you ll do

As an SAP Developer, you will:

- Develop, implement, and maintain SAP GUI automation scripts to optimize user workflows

- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for analysis, utilizing SAP data mining techniques

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and data-driven solutions

- Conduct regular audits to ensure the effectiveness and integrity of the automation and data mining systems

The team

The Digital Excellence Centre is responsible for building products and platforms for Deloitte India that focuses on providing extraordinary customer experience by putting design thinking with trailblazing technology in the center of what they do. The diverse team consists of subject matter experts, technology specialists, quality engineers, user experience researchers & designers, developers and product managers

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SAP GUI automation scripts using SAP-specific and third-party tools
• Extract data from SAP systems and perform data mining to produce actionable insights
• Collaborate closely with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform system testing and debugging; ensure that all scripts and data mining models are robust and scalable
• Document all processes, including code comments, technical manuals, and user guides
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of SAP modules and technologies to suggest improvements and upgrades
• Provide training and support to end-users for any new automation or data tools deployed
• Comply with company's data governance and security guidelines

As a prospective candidate, you should possess:

- Strong knowledge of SAP GUI scripting languages such as SAPscript, SmartForms, or Python

- Familiarity with data mining techniques and tools

- Proficiency in programming languages like C#, or Python

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
