Job Summary

TheSeniorSystems & Cloud Engineer will work with leadership teams to providetechnical vision, design, and implementation of cloud-based solutions and services. We are looking for innovators who are as committed to shaping the future of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of server, storage, and networking technologies
• Develops, implements, and supports a variety of infrastructure platform technologies
• Maintain an excellent working relationship with 3rd Party vendors
• Aid in the design, strategy, and solutioning of
• Implement strategies to increase reliability and decrease the cost of technologies
• Implement processes for internal operational effectiveness and continuous improvement
• Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability
• Provide technical guidance to service partners as needed
• Implement processes for internal operational effectiveness and continuous improvement
• Assist with communication of process changes, enhancements, and modifications so solutions are understood
• Work closely with development and security teams to identify gaps and implement solutions to drive improvements in reliability, security, performance, and availability
• Performs specialized assignments; leads others to solve complex problems and develop non-traditional solutions
• Works independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations
• Supports others to solve complex problems
• Identifies innovative solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of design and architecture experience with VMWare vCenter Server and ESXi virtualization technology
• Extensive experience with all aspects of server hardware and related internal and external storage hardware (RAID, Fibre Channel, etc).
• In-depth functional knowledge of varying versions of Microsoft & Linux operating systems
• Experience with supporting PaaS, and IaaS solutions in Azure
• Experience with migrating on-premises applications to the cloud is a plus
• Experience with Cisco UCS is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory in a multi-domain environment
• Experience with PowerShell and PowerCLI
• Knowledge of application resource & performance management utilities such as Turbonomics and Dynatrace is a plus
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Strong technical background and ability to work with engineers, developers, and other key stakeholders

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in relevant field preferred
• 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• VMWare and/or Cloud-related certificates are preferred
