Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities: We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst who will be an integral part of the design and implementation of marketing database solutions for external clients. This position will be responsible for acting as a liaison between our clients and internal Database Development, Delivery and Marketing Campaign teams. Lead planning, gathering and documentation of business requirements. This will involve both interfacing with clients as well as the internal teams. Consult with clients and internal teams to identify current processes, clarify business objectives, and to establish technology requirements. Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on your client's marketing database. May be called on to answer questions and work on best practices for database builds, data usage, and product design. Participate in system/database design or enhancement and communicate results effectively. Documentation will include: Technical Specs, Business Requirements, Process Flows, Change Requests, Test Plans, and Data Audit Reports. Prepare high-level system flow for the proposed solution and review with the Implementation team and client if necessary. Guide clients in business rule development. Implement business rules in database. Test, maintain, and monitor data and list prep processes for building and maintaining the client database. Perform high level quality assurance on: data processing, data loads, reports etc. Support client in the full SDLC and UAT processes. Assist project managers to develop initial project plan and subsequent updates. Be proactive with clients, guiding them through project resolutions, change requests and next solutions. Qualifications 4 to 6+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis. Bachelor's degree in a related field of study is required. Experience in Data-Driven Marketing Services, Marketing Campaigns, Database Marketing, or a related domain. Intermediate to advanced level at writing queries using SQL. Experience managing the entire SDLC including UAT. Experience in the following are helpful: process improvement, database development, ETL tools, data process engineering, CRM solutions, software development, or master data management. Knowledge or IBM Campaign (Unica) or Adobe Campaign a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with both external clients and internal teams at all levels. Proven technical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong project coordination skills and decision-making skills. Self-initiative and leadership skills.
