Technician - Site Service India Job in Danfoss Industries Pvt Ltd

We are looking for a qualifiedSite Service IT Technician who would provide and guide Danfoss internal users towards solving IT problems with a service mindset. In this role, you wouldinstall and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. You will also train users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure. Good knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems is needed.

If you have the thirst toward learning new technology and help others to use and make them productive, then this is also an important task of this role.

• Provide End user support with Customer Centric approach
• Handle Helpdesk task for local & global end users over Voice, Chat & Email
• Imaging Laptop/Desktop as per Business specification
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Provide Hands & Feet support for Network Incidents & Service Request
• Provide Hands & Feet support for Server Incidents & Service Request
• Coordinate with Third Party Vendors for issues/fault resolution
• Check computer hardware and IT accessories to ensure functionality
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without business interruptions
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
• Working on shifts, holidays, weekends is part of this role
• Should be willing to travel in short notice

• 4 5 years of IT related experience
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• Handling voice calls for international users
• Working with cross functional team from region would be an added advantage
• Good knowledge on troubleshooting Windows 10 Desktop/Laptop
• Server / Storage Hands on Experience
• Network Device Hands on Experience
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• B2 English Language
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Any graduation with IT or equivalent
• ITIL Knowledge Preferred
