Skill Requirement Skills Required : Primary Skills : Should have strong exposure on VMware Server, Virtualization Server, Vsphere, Hyper-V. Secondary Skills : Mandate to have minimum 1 Year exposure on Powershell Scripting & Windows Server. Preferable to have VMware Certification. Required Professional and Technical Expertise 3+yrs in VMware Server Administrator Proficient in controlling administrator rights on VM Infrastructure, Use of VMware Converter Enterprise and overview. Set-up of resource pools and a VMware Distributed Resources Scheduler (DRS) cluster, Resource Management, Resource Monitoring Set-up of a VMware High Availability (HA) cluster Proven experience in ESX Server Installation Configuration of virtual switches, network connections and port groups Configure Storage Virtual Center Installation and configuration and Installation of its components Perform Level 3 Support Esx Operating system Demonstrable experience in Install / Upgrade Esx platform environment Support Level 3 OS monitoring Client Software, Backup and Recovery client, Client Software, automated Security, health checking client, OS monitoring Script ESX Server deployments for remote installation Security in a VMware Virtualized Environment Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
Job Responsibilities
- Hands on experience with PHP and Python
- Exposure to JS, ASP.NET will be an additional advantage
- Should be able to handle a team of 50-60 members
- Ability to drive the project independently and use their end-to-end experience in solution proposal management
- Should be capable of handling large infrastructure outsourcing bids
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be proficient in developing and delivering presentations on the solution
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using initiative to anticipate needs in areas of responsibility
- Ensure high quality of the solutions from concept through to delivery
- Handling/working with government clients will be an additional advantage
- Should be able to understand RFP
