Job Description

Cvent is looking for aTechnical Project Manager, ITto join our rapidly growingInformationTechnology Team.This teamis responsible for the design,maintenanceand operation of the company s suite of Enterprise Applications. TheInformationtechnology department boasts sharp technical skills and the ability to use collaboration and analytical prowess to work through complex problems.

• Lead cross functional teams to drive the design, implementation, and deployment ofstrategic IT growth initiatives
• Experience a direct correlation between your efforts and business outcomes

The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally strong communicator and possess minimum 7 years of experience in tactical project management of highly technical initiatives, as well as strategic program involvement. Experience in managing data center infrastructure, and/or operational support is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, Executing, Monitoring & Reporting on IT Projects Agile, Hybrid & Waterfall.
• Experience in Risk Identification & Mitigation Plans, Communication Plans, Reporting Plans complementing the SDLC.
• Shepherding technical/operational projects from the conceptual stages through technical implementation
• Ensure that the defined architecture and best practices standards are adhered to.
• Provides project management expertise to project staff, quality assurance and production support staff
• Identify, Monitor & Report on KPIS across multiple teams and disciplines.
• Ensuring planned robust communication with stakeholders
• Proper planning of all requirements, from intake to readiness, follow up with stakeholders and BAs to ensure fulfillment.

Candidate Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in core project management disciplines; including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management
• Bachelor s degree or equivalent required; Master s degree preferred. Desired majors include Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Business Management, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of project management principles and tools; JIRA/JSD or Confluence preferred
• Large/enterprise Project Management or Project Lead experience in a SaaS, PaaS environment preferred
• CSM/ Safe / PMP certification mandatory
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Working understanding of ETL tools, Data warehousing, Analytics, Salesforce s Service Cloud/Service Cloud, EBS and support operations is preferred.
