Job Summary

Cvent is searching for a high-impact Senior Marketing Associate/ATL to join their European (India) marketing team and partner with the global marketing teams in the US and Europe to develop and manage campaign execution, reporting to the Marketing Manager for the region.


The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the marketing mix used across the entire customer journey; ideally with experience of marketing software or meetings & events industries; success in B2B marketing; and the ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities. You should be both creative and analytical, able to integrate social media, digital marketing techniques, traditional physical events and corporate communications, and take the reins of delivering marketing activities to achieve good results.

Position Duties:

  • Partner with regional marketing team to execute marketing plans (campaigns, live events such as webinars, seminars, networking events etc.) to help generate leads for sale team
  • Manage end to end execution, from taking inputs from cloud marketing team and working with program management team to get it processed.
  • Responsible for sales enablement ensuring the sales team is kept up to date with all marketing activities, ranging from seminars and webinars to new content and marketing campaigns
  • Localise webpages and collaterals such as product/solutions pages, eBooks, whitepaper, reports etc. created in the US for local country use, or support in creation of new assets as required to support local campaign needs
  • Write copy for paid social media ad copies related to regional events and content
  • Manage, measure, track, and report on marketing activities to evaluate campaign results and effectiveness across the mix

Candidate Requirements:

  • Creative thinker, team player, detail-oriented, organised, self-motivated and an effective communicator
  • University degree in marketing, digital, design or closely related field with at least 3 years experience or MBA in marketing with minimum 2 years of experience in B2B marketing in technology, software or events industry and some experience of working alongside fast-paced sales team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with initiative and enthusiasm
  • Knowledge of content & digital marketing techniques for inbound marketing, and of developing outbound e-marketing nurture campaigns
  • Experience with marketing software systems including email marketing (Marketo), CRM systems (Salesforce.com) a plus
  • Good writing skills with ideally 2+ years experience writing emails, blogs, social media
  • Experience of working in a multi-national, matrixed organisation to execute integrated marketing campaigns in partnership with local and remote sales & marketing departments
