Our growing Web UI team is looking for an Assistant Manager to help us build top-tier, industry
leading websites for our marketing team. You will create designs (templates and prototypes) for
websites that are intuitive, creative, thoughtful, simple and delightful while working with content
experts, designers, and developers to complete the implementation and launch.

What You ll Be Doing:
Collaborate with user researchers, designers, developers and stakeholders to drive the
overall Cvent web experience
Design intuitive, modern, accessible websites and components for our site visitors
Create high quality mock ups, prototypes and other deliverables
Sketch low-fidelity wireframes and layouts on whiteboards or using pen and paper
Write and maintain a UX Brief outlining the goals of each project
Produce multiple design solutions as you work toward a final design
Articulate your design thinking as you present your work to stakeholders
Collaborate with other designers to raise the bar of our UI savvy
Track metrics to measure the impact of your designs
Gather feedback and data to iterate on your designs as needed
Write functional annotations and work with engineers to ensure designs are implemented
as intended
Mentor and coach a team of Web Designers
What You Need For This Position:
A bachelor s degree in Arts or a related field
8-10 years of experience designing for the web in-house or agency
Solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture,
user interfaces, and navigation
Excellent design chops, and the ability to create beautiful, usable interfaces
CMS experience preferably Drupal
Deep understanding of the capabilities of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, responsive
designs
Strong experience using tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Adobe XD etc.
Ability and desire to apply creativity to a variety of projects
Good knowledge of modern web standards and web performance
Good visual design capacity and/or understanding
Confidence to take criticism productively and defend your design decisions when
necessary
Ability to see the big picture, but also pay attention to the details
Practical understanding of design systems and accessibility beyond the UI
Experience working with JIRA and or Clarizen
Demonstrated ability to implement one-off projects quickly while keeping long-term
initiatives on schedule
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools
Excellent English communication, both written and verbal
Great analytical and logical ability, Positive attitude and out of the box thinking
Comfort discussing and contributing ideas at any stage of the process
