Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently & collaborate with customer teams on daily basis to understand requirements, plan & implement tasks, and provide regular status updates
  • Responsible for managing production-grade AWS infrastructures (setup, provisioning, monitoring, optimization etc.)
  • Setting up and managing Kubernetes production grade clusters
  • Managing build and deployment using CI/CD processes
  • Setting up observability & monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic etc.

Technical / process skills:

Must have:

  • Strong knowledge in Linux & shell scripting
  • Well versed with containerization technologies and Kubernetes ecosystem
  • Strong knowledge of setting up AWS infrastructure & services using best practices
  • Well versed in AWS services like EC2, VPC, ELB, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, KMS, SNS, SQS
  • Good knowledge of working with AWS Container and Kubernetes services like ECS, EKS, Fargate
  • Working knowledge in configuring application servers like Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, WebLogic etc.
  • Familiarity with service configuration and provisioning with tools like Chef/Ansible/Puppet, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS OpsWorks
  • Well versed with version control using Git and concepts like hooks, branching, tagging, release management, hotfixes etc.
  • Experienced in creating & maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodePipeline etc.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and application logging using tools like CloudWatch Logs, CloudTrail, ELK etc.
  • Experience of setting up and managing monitoring and alerting using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Graphite, Collectd, Ganglia, New Relic, Zenoss, Sensu, Nagios etc.
  • Hands-on experience in hardening infrastructure for security, performance, compliance & regulatory requirements
  • Willing to work within client defined periods to provide support as needed


Good to have:

  • Certifications in AWS, Linux administration, CKA etc.
  • Experience in application status monitoring tools & workflow automation tools using Cachet, Zapier, n8n etc.
  • Experience of working with AWS Security services like GuardDuty, WAF, Shield etc.
  • Knowledge of patch management using AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager
