Role: DevOps Manager

Lead a team of DevOps professionals, driving technical excellence, ensuring timely and quality deliverables, and acting as a focal point for both technical leadership and customer collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management:
- Supervise and guide a team of DevOps Leads, Experts, Specialists, and Developers.
- Ensure alignment with program increment (PI) commitments.
Technical Leadership:
- Act as the technical focal point for the team.
- Govern and oversee development and implementation activities.
- Investigate and debug code while providing suggestions for improvement.
Customer Collaboration:
- Serve as the focal point for both internal and external customers.
- Ensure deliverables meet expectations and provide support where needed.
Non-Functional Requirement Planning:
- Define and plan product non-functional requirements (NFR).
Analysis and Risk Management:
- Analyze designs provided by the platform team.
- Perform impact assessments, effort estimations, and risk mitigation.
Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship:
- Share expertise with team members.
- Mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 10 14 years in Kubernetes/OpenShift architecture, deployment, and resource optimization in production environments.
- Programming: Hands-on expertise in Groovy and Python for implementing complex automation.
- Version Control: Proficient in Git (preferably Bitbucket) and knowledgeable in GitOps.
- Databases: Strong experience with Postgres and Couchbase, including troubleshooting and implementation.
- Messaging Services: Proficiency with Kafka as a messaging service.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins and Docker.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise in Terraform, including writing Terraform code for AWS and Azure.
- Cloud Platforms: Comprehensive understanding of AWS and Azure.
