What You'll Do:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst, Consumer Insights to support our commercial and in-market analyst teams within the APAC region. As part of our dedicated APAC Consumer Insights Analyst team, your role will be pivotal in harnessing our extensive commerce dataset, coupled with a deep understanding of our technology and industry, to provide unique insights and tools to some of the largest retailers and brands in APAC.
In this role, you'll have privileged access to one of the world's largest datasets, alongside the computational power required to deliver insights into shopper behavior and market trends that can't be found anywhere else.
The scope of this role involves technically rigorous work, including the use of leading-edge data analysis technologies and daily interaction with other cross-functional business units. Criteo s high-growth business model brings both opportunities and challenges. The ideal candidate functions with minimal oversight and has the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
This role is based in Gurgaon, India.
Develop an in-depth understanding of customer purchasing trends and industry patterns across the APAC region, while also building expertise in data cleaning, applying benchmarking methodologies, and defining new metrics.
Work with our commercial and in-market analysts to understand their market needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between broad market level insight and client focus insights.
Support in setting up projects that require statistical model testing, faster computation, automation, adaptation for a broader range of accounts, coordinating effectively on the execution with global teams.
Be an active part in defining and updating the delivery roadmap and deliverables in sync with the stakeholders involved, while servicing more specific custom needs for our clients on an ad-hoc basis.
Present findings and takeaways of your analysis to internal stakeholders.
Work on visualizations to metamorphose your data into actionable information.
Who You Are:
Your work experience: 3+ years in an analytical role in Market Research, Marketing, Technology, Consulting; bonus points if you have a good understanding of internet advertising technologies (cookies, DSP, SSP, RTB, etc.)
Your academic background: Bachelor s degree or equivalent in a quantitative or business discipline, with a primary emphasis on Analytics (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and related areas. )
Your Analytics skills: You possess a comprehensive grasp of relational databases, data architecture/governance, and the practical application of statistical concepts. Your strength lies in your exceptional attention to detail, complemented by your capacity to envision the broader strategic picture.
Your technical skills: You have hands-on experience in working with databases and tools (Hive, Vertica, Tableau) and have some programming experience (Python), in the context of both automation creation and using Python for data analysis and visualization. SQL and Python are a must.
Your business skills: You have a high-level approach to address broad topics and proactively propose actionable recommendations and concrete follow-up steps. You are able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Your personality: You are curious, versatile, autonomous, able to multi-task and prioritize; you like to interact and collaborate with people from various backgrounds, mindsets and cultures
