KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manages Operations support for a range of activities
Manages operational projects for planning and implementing process and operational changes across businesses
Inventories the critical business processes, including internal controls, required to support analytical and regulatory requirements
Manages the design of new processes
Leads business governance across assigned business/region for workflow systems with a focus on managing process and functionality improvements
Conducts analysis to generate reports and collaborates with product team to set pricing policies
Provide recommendations on potential changes to current proposal and negotiation process
Manages metrics review to refine the indicators by which process and/or content quality is measured
Provides fact-based interpretation and analysis of findings and knowledge based recommendations to senior management
In case of Corporate Actions position, manages team responsible for the processing, balancing, and reconciliation of positions related to mergers, conversions, and redemptionsFUNCTIONAL & BEHAVIOURAL KNOWLEDGE Uses broader knowledge of operations principles and theories and the business to improve processes Proficient in process engineering and six sigma methodologyPROBLEM SOLVING Solves complex problems in operational processes and takes a new perspective using existing solutionsINTERACTIONS Leads multiple project streams and interacts with other related teams and internal clientsTYPICAL SCOPE & IMPACT Impacts the quality of operations support and effectiveness of own teamMINIMUM & PREFERRED EDUCATION Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferredMINIMUM & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS 7-10 years of experience PMP or Black Belt Certification preferred
