Job Summary

About the Team:

Enago Academy is the knowledge arm of Enago, the world s leading language solutions provider and a trusted name in the academic publishing industry (STEM and HSS).

Over the last 10 years, Enago has helped disseminate knowledge about manuscript preparation, submission, and publication to numerous first-time and experienced researchers from countries such as Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Russia, Germany, Turkey, Brazil, and Mexico. In our endeavor to reach out to ESL authors across geographies, we have collaborated with several publishers, scientific societies, and universities. We now intend to further increase this association through the specialized channel of Enago Academy, primarily by offering comprehensive and up-to-date resources for researchers, publishers, authors, editors, and students to learn and share their experience about research and publishing; by creating innovative services to help researchers achieve their goal of publication; and by conducting training workshops and seminars on different topics related to academia.

Content Expert Enago Academy

Key Responsibility:

Content Expert/Consultant

  • Initiate content ideas revolving around research, manuscript writing, and publishing
  • Responsible for content development of the website, workshops, and products developed by Enago Academy
  • Improving brand visibility of Enago by conducting interviews with industry experts and upcoming researchers
  • Ensuring that Enago Academy become an active platform for sharing industry-related updates with a global audience
  • Co-ordination with stakeholders for developing inhouse products
  • Improve content on Enago Academy s website and give inputs for regional websites

Website Content Management

  • Assisting with topic and article generation
  • Researching on new topics
  • Working with project co-ordinator for article publishing
  • Responsible for output quality of content that is published
  • Website testing and change management

Workshop/Seminar Management

  • Assisting with content development for workshops and co-ordinate with Sales for workshop-related requirements.
  • Increasing the database of the workshop content on a quarterly basis based on CRM inputs.
  • Improving the visibility of Enago s workshops in co-ordination with Marketing.

Desired Candidate Profile

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • PhD in Physical/Life Sciences/MSc with strong inclination toward content development and STEM industry

Preferred Skills:

  • Academic research and self-publishing experience
  • Knowledge of STEM industry
  • Strong content writing/editing skills
  • 1+ year of project management experience managing mid to large scale projects
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Proficient user of MS office

A Definite Plus if You Have

  • Experience in working with international teams/expats
  • Knowledge of content management systems
  • Solid understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, and perform resource allocation
  • Good understanding of and presence in social media
  • Experience in managing people and teams
