Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • As an individual contributor, understand the requirements and derive technical solutions
  • Perform detailed design and coding, debugging, testing and release of the given modules or systems
  • Should ensure that APIs are easy to maintain and upstreamable and fit the common application framework
  • Will be responsible for the overall Web Engine working on specific platform. This includes porting, upgrading, platform adaptation and new feature development

Required Skills

  • Good programming ability in C, C++, GTK programming Linux
  • Should have expertise on Webkit or Blink or Chromium web engines
  • Should have experience with browser modules like Graphics and Web Media porting and performance tuning
  • Have knowledge on Memory management in WebKit or Chromium
  • Very Good Experience in developing and debugging of multithreaded programs
  • Experience in working Yocto build systems
  • Should be able to write and execute unit testing of Web technologies HTML or CSS or JavaScript
  • Good fundamentals of Software Configuration Management like git, gerrit or similar tools
  • Should have very good Knowledge on web specifications like HTML5, DOM, CSS, JavaScript
  • Agile based development experience
  • Usage knowledge on shell scripting and python scripting
  • Goodinterpersonal, oral and writing communication skills
  • Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner and ability to be productive in short span of time
  • Should have skills to understand and analyze customers requirements and expectations
