Responsibilities

• We are looking for an experienced cloud engineer to work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging of an enterprise grade cloud solution stacks, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure
• To be successful as a cloud engineer, you should be able to identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our clients and maintain cloud infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies
• Work closely with Users, Application Development, Application Architecture, and Software Release management teams to gather Infrastructure requirements
• Support Infrastructure from an engineering, security, and architecture perspective
• Design and implement infrastructure for applications as well as implementation of tools/automation and processes to support application development, quality assurance, and ops provisioning
• Experience in Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Azure ARM, Terraform, PowerShell, DSC and Azure Automation,
• Focus on developing, implementing and operationalizing cloud solutions that are highly available and resilient by utilizing best practices in systems engineering
• Document standards, processes, workflows, and policies around applications and underlying infrastructure
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve highly complex application and infrastructure issues
• Maintain infrastructure in compliance with requirement of SOC2 standard
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, infrastructure upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Maintains alert monitoring platform and validate alerting solutions; resize virtual platforms as needed
• Provide infrastructure support, in Azure cloud on a wide range of technologies, including Public and Private Certificate Services, DHCP, DNS, Azure Active Directory AD, SQL Databases, IIS
• Adheres to Change Management and Problem Management policies for production affecting items

Required Skills

• Strong background in managing software deployments within Azure
• Experience in Azure Data Migration Assistant
• Strong background in performance tuning of complex systems within Azure
• Microsoft Azure Platform as a Service products such as Azure SQL, WebApps, AppServices and FunctionApp
• Familiar with Azure Firewalls, Network Security Groups, VNets, and route tables
• Familiar Azure AD Conditional Access security policies
• Broad experience with cloud adoption, including prototyping of new environments; working with development and other teams on virtual server builds, platform-as-a-service components, data migration, and performance tuning
• Experience with DevOps procedures, CI/CD systems and processes and with working in an Agile environment
• Must have strong problem-solving and organization skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Familiar with SOC2 compliance requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education / Training

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, and/or equivalent work experience
• Certifications in Microsoft Azure Cloud platform is highly desired
