Sr Server Administrator Job in Cotiviti

As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will join our talented IT Infrastructure team. The primary responsibilities include installing, upgrading, and patching operating systems; installing and configuring virtual servers; Application deployments to Middleware Infrastructure performing aspects of system security, including OS hardening and patch installation; Applicant must be able to work independently or in a group environment and writing documentation. Excellent communication skills and proven team work / building are required for this position. The candidate must be able to integrate with a team of highly skilled Systems Administrators and other Information Technology staff

Responsibility:

• Maintain Uptime of servers and Application's
• Responsible for Deploying/installing/Upgrading Artifact's/Application's/Servers.
• Should have experience on webserver, mod_proxy, mod-jk, Load balancer.
• Adapt to quickly learn new Technologies
• Ready to work in Shifts
• Handle change requests/Releases/RFC's as per schedule.
• Reviewing of all the error logs and fixing it along with providing superior customer support
• Coordinate with the other team members to troubleshoot/fetch required information/fix problems.
• Should act on Alerts/Incidents and fix them.
• Should be able to handle L1/L2 requests independently
• Recommend and Document best practices
• Automate iterative tasks
• Should take up New Learning activities

Required Skills

• 4+ years experience in Linux Server Administration.
• Strong in Linux Administration, Experience in L1/L2 Tasks
• Handling high severity issues and troubleshooting experience
• Should have experience in VMWARE infrastructure
• Should have experience in Performance Tuning
• Middleware and Web Servers:
  • Apache, JBoss (Eap6 or Eap7 Clusters & standalone mode)
• Strong in Any Scripting language:
  • Bash, Python
• Should have experience in Ansible
• Good to have knowledge on CI/CD tools

• RHCE certified
• Ansible certified
