What You'll Need: Deploying, automating, managing, and maintaining our Apache Cloudstack cloud-based production system as well as a Docker Swarm and/or Kubernetes based set of container automations. Experience with deploying, configuring, monitoring, updating, and managing various database environments including clustered database platforms (SingleStore, Vertica), traditional RDBMS platforms (Oracle, Postgres), and NoSQL platforms such as Redis and Memcached. Proficient in cloud-based platform architecture with AWS, other platforms such as Apache Cloudstack a plus. System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms. Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions. Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements. Defining and deploying systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring production environments. Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes. What You'll Need: Associate degree (AA) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAdvanced knowledge of Linux operating systems, preferably Centos and Red Hat. A RHCE certification would be a plus. Advanced knowledge of scripting languages Advanced networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN) Expert Cloud Technology knowledge (AWS, Azure, Cloudstack) Advanced expertise in Container Management (Docker, Kubernetes) Expert level in Monitoring Tools
