Job Summary

As an IT Operator you will be responsible for monitoring the events and troubleshooting of incidents in following environments - Test, System and Production within Colruyt Group. IT Operations team offers its services 24x7 to entire Colruyt Group. This team is involved in majority of the ITIL processes like Incident, Change & Problem Management, Monitoring of batch jobs, Service Request handling and also offers On call services

    Roles of an Operator

  • Event monitoring (using the tools OMI, BMC Control-M, Dynatrace, Tivoli).
  • Monitoring of batch jobs in System & Production Environments
  • Analyzing batch errors and troubleshooting
  • Anticipate possible service outages and trigger corrective actions
  • Process Adhoc IT requests from business and deliver the services as per agreed timelines.
  • Systematically logging of events through defined protocols.
  • Addressing unresolved issues to the concerned team for resolutions within defined SLE's
  • Monitoring and carrying out standard day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare and send a Daily Operations Report with relevant information and actions triggered
  • Communicate efficiently within onshore and offshore teams
  • Responsible in delivering the services 24x7 with desired Quality, Efficiency and Effectiveness (QEE)
  • Flexible to work in shifts which includes Night and Weekend-shifts.
  • Fundamental concepts of Linux & Windows Environment
  • Fundamental network concepts
  • Good analytical and logical reasoning.
  • Preferably Fundamental knowledge of any operating system (Unix, Linux or windows) Fundamental concepts of Mainframe environment

Qualification :
BTech/MCA
Experience Required :

1 to 2 Year
