Job Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, and edit content for website and related company corporate sites
  • Work on material for site promotions, email newsletters, and online outreach campaigns
  • Copyedit and proofread web content
  • Work closely with key team members and clients
  • Ensure web content is user-friendly and key-worded for SEO benefit
  • Understand nuances of U.S. English
  • Ensure that each document is grammatical, factually correct, and punctuations are used properly. Moreover, it should be well-structured and coherent.
  • Understand the scope of, and edit business reports
  • Ensure consistency and flow of the report is in line with the domain and client requirement
  • Generally, reports have over 150 pages. Hence, an editor needs to ensure that consistency in terms of language, punctuations, etc. is maintained throughout the report.
  • Edit content to improve readability while adhering to in-house style guidelines
  • Achieve production targets assigned and meet multiple, competing deadlines

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strongunderstanding of the subject matter and proofreading skill
  • Ability to write engagingly content for the web
  • Basic understanding of MS Word
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
