DESCRIPTION

• The candidate should have four or more years of experience in the accessibility EPUB process and QC/QA. Excellent knowledge in accessibility EPUB3 concepts and processes; ability to handle design books of all complexity including Math content
• The candidate must also be an accomplished communicator who s able to fit in with a highly active and integrated team and work processes

KEY SKILLS

• Proficient in various text editor applications (Epsilon, UltraEdit, Notepad++, etc.)
• Good in understanding the customer s specification
• Good in email communication
• Familiar with various processes (EPUB3/XML/HTML5)
• Good in meeting quality/quantity targets
• Should be well versed in DTD/XSLT/Schema/CSS/IDPF standard guidelines
• Added advantage if the resource is familiar with Pearson PXE projects
• Good in accessibility EPUB3 knowledge
• Familiar with Style Sheets creation
• Familiar with MathML coding
• Experience with interactive EPUB conversions
• Have an independent and analytical approach to work
• The ability to multitask effectively across several projects and assignments is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills
• Update customer requirements; send updates and special instructions to the team and ensure they are followed during delivery
