Job Summary
The Therapy Finance Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the India Business division by providing financial insights and analysis to drive profitable growth. This role involves developing and monitoring therapy budgets, analyzing performance against key metrics, and collaborating with business partners to make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities Therapy Budget and Performance Assist in the development and finalization of accurate and timely therapy budgets. Monitor and report on the performance of key therapy KPIs against budget targets. Analyze variances between actual results and budget, and provide actionable insights to CFMs and Therapy Heads. Conduct reviews of Profit & Loss statements and propose action plans to address negative variances. Drive performance management processes for assigned therapy clusters. Business Insights and Strategic Support Develop a deep understanding of assigned therapeutic areas to inform strategic growth plans. Collaborate with CFMs and Therapy Heads by sharing business information and insights to drive growth and profitability. Analyze competitor performance, market trends, and internal data (LBE, MOR, marketing spends) to inform decision-making. Recommend product line rationalization strategies to eliminate unprofitable SKUs and streamline operations. Conduct regular market visits to gather intelligence and assess competitor activity. Process Optimization and Automation Champion process simplification through automation, elimination of unnecessary tasks, and outsourcing where applicable. Work with IT teams to develop and implement tools and automation for improved data analysis and reporting. Utilize big data analytics to generate actionable insights for business partners. Controllership Implement automated systems to ensure accurate audit tracking and comprehensive rate provisions for key accounts. Conduct regular reviews of accounts to identify and address potential issues related to special rate business profitability. Key Interactions Internal: BU Heads, DTHs, PMTs, CFMs, Costing team, Procurement team, Supply Chain team, Business Development team, IT team, Depot Managers, Field force. External: Stockists, Chemists, Doctors. Qualifications Chartered Accountant or MBA from a reputable institution. Minimum 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in finance or a related field. Strong analytical and data analysis skills. Excellent decision-making skills and attention to detail. Ability to propose creative solutions and problem-solve effectively.
