IT Service Manager - Application Services

ABB€™s Electrification Business Area is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel. In this role you will be taking full accountability for delivering IS services. You will be accountable for the entire lifecycle of a strategic platform or portfolio of IS solutions and applications. You will be responsible for creating the product and service roadmap, ensuring alignment with the vision and requirements of the business customer. You will also be accountable for the IS compliance of the IS solutions and applications in scope. You will be reporting to the Head of Global IS Application.

Your responsibilities

• Driving service launch activities, including completion of all required deliverables for production readiness.
• Establishing, managing and delivering the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operation Level Agreements (OLAs) in collaboration with all relevant IS departments and other key stakeholders.
• Designing and supporting processes that foster service improvement, reviewing service level reports to verify quality of provided services.
• Ensuring satisfaction with IS services, by understanding their strategic and tactical needs, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps and influences stakeholder perceptions of the relevant IS services.
• Ensuring work in the delivery domain department is compliant with all applicable ABB Regulations and ABB Group Guidelines.
• Ensuring that the IS Solutions and applications are compliant with internal and external regulations e.g., SOX, Data Privacy, Export controls, license management, etc.
• Executing all actions in IS processes according to agreed RACI specifications.
• Ensuring (with HR Manager support and with Capabilities) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
• Guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee.

Your background

• Master€™s Degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar.
• Excellent IS development and operations skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies.
• Strong experience in leading IS vendors.
• Strong experience around modernized and digital product services and delivery.
• Excellent experience to figure out business requirements and how to translate into technical IS capabilities and solutions.
• Strong experience in project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes.
