Working within Global Business Services IS, you will be ensuring that new or changed products and services to be introduced to production from all the domains meet functional and operational requirements and that the integrity of the Consumer Experience (CX) environment is protect-ed and that changes to services, products, and processes are documented and in compliance with CX Architecture policies. Reporting to the IS Consumer Service Transition Manager, you will be creating a high impact on Consumer productivity (of all ABB employees and externals) by validating the solution architecture across Consumer Experience in alignment with IS Capabilities and IS Enterprise Architecture. This position is graded as Global Grade 12.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of Information Systems solutions/ services.
  • Identifying, proposing, and implementing existing Information Systems infrastructure technology in the context of Information Systems solutions/ services.
  • Disseminating knowledge in implementation and operations, using knowledge of Information Systems infrastructure technology and business requirements.
  • Helping with installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of processes related to Information Systems solutions/ services. infrastructure requirements.
  • Heading up temporary work teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, disseminating expert knowledge.

Your background

  • Bachelor€™s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Master€™s Degree preferred.
  • Above 5 years of relevant experience in IS with focus in validation and testing in global environments
  • Above 5 years of experience in roles connected to Architecture or service validation
  • Experience participating in SCRUM/Agile Teams with track record of new service introduction and service improvement
  • ITIL 3 RCV is a must
  • ITIL 4 foundation certification is a must
  • SCRUM, Lean and DevOps certification are a plus
  • Passionate about Consumer Experience (CX)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Superior IS operations skills and a deep understanding IS technologies and the impact of reconfigurations
