Job Summary
    Role Description
    The Data Science Team in TDT is expected to build fitting analytics, BI and ML solutions to bring business value to the businesses. This involves usage of various tools and platforms for processing/analyzing data, for building data models, reports, as well as for building data science models, all at a big data scale. Expectations of the role include (not limited to)
  • Designing analytics solutions for business problems, spanning activities of data modeling, analytical reporting using BI tools, and data science using applied statistics and ML
  • Leading technical discussions with respect to Data Science including offering suggestions with respect to technical feasibility and implementation feasibility of the AI/ML solutions
  • Delivering Technical workshops to Executive or Senior Manager-level stakeholders of various businesses. This includes white boarding sessions to assess the feasibility of various business use cases that require an AI/ML based solution.
  • Architecting AI/ML solutions on cloud or on-premise platforms
  • Working with the external stakeholders such as partners (like Microsoft, Amazon AWS, etc.) in various partner events including several presentation sessions
  • Working with the pre-sales team in cost/effort estimations for Data Science projects
  • Working with the clients for various project deliverables
  • Working closely with Cadenz product team to design novel use of analytics for customers of Cadenz.
  • Coordinating with other internal or external teams (like Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, etc) within TDT or the Clients
  • Assisting a team of Data Scientists and Analysts in their respective projects including hands-on development as required.
  • Establishing best practices across the various Data Science projects to improve efficiency and learning across the company.
  • Keeping updated with the various technology trends and contributing to the company s products and solutions through innovative ideas. Assist in R&D as required.
  • Contributing to the learning and development of the peers through knowledge share sessions.
    Key Skills

  • Strong Presentation skills and experience in handling senior stakeholders
  • Strong expertise in Python, R and SQL.
  • Analytical skills and ability to find patterns in data
  • Hands-on expertise required in PySpark or Scala.
  • Hands-on expertise in deploying models in Production and related MLOps practices
  • Familiarity in all the commonly used Machine Learning and Deep learning models and their working behavior
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end Data Science practices
  • Hands-on expertise in Cloud and on-premise Data Science and other relevant data platforms
  • Other good-to-have skillsets BI & Analytics expertise, Domain knowledge, Experience in creating knowledge bases/Ontologies, Data Engineering/ETL expertise, Math/OR.
  • Preferred Data Science Certifications, Completion of popular MooCs on various platforms such as Coursera/EDX/MIT/Stanford
