Job Description

EDUCATION

B.E./B. Tech (Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering)

Diploma (Mechanical/Tool & Die Making, Mechatronics)

SKILL SET

Robotics, welding and automation exposure

Understand customer requirement and technical discussion.

Good ability to develop and hand-sketch concepts and communicate clearly to customers

Robotic Process exposure and selection of Robot, Welding Gun, PLC and other euipment in Spot Welding and Arc welding is a must. Any other process knowledge is an added advantage

Basic control system knowledge (PLC, communication protocols, I/O s, etc.) and their selection is a must

Should have a fair knowledge on automation cell safety

Robot & PLC operation/programming is an added advantage

Basics on Simulation and Design Process in Robotics Welding Application

Must meticulously update the Inquiry List, Proposals List, Data Collection Formats

Technical communication

Nego Discussion with customer, along with responsibilities of Payment Terms and Payment Collection

Responsibility of ABG, PBG, C-Form and other commercial factors

LOCATION

Pune/Bangalore

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 years Sales experience in a Robotics Welding application and equipment

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To interpret customer s enquiry documents, prepare conceptual designs and draft technical responses using AutoCAD, Word, PowerPoint & Excel, to tight, customer specified, deadlines

To estimate Takt & Cycle Times, Concept Layouts, Tentative BOM, define scope of supply and float RFQ s to Mechanical and Electrical teams

To use simulation software for quick feasibility study

To carry out practical trials based on customer requirements

To undertake ongoing technical and commercial clarifications, requested by the customer, throughout the life of the proposal, and support the Sales team through to successful order placement

Must be able to understand and use data from technical papers, catalogue, product brochure, etc.

Must be able to read, understand and note customer standards

To process orders and prepare accurate project handover files for the Design and Simulation team

To attend scope clarification meetings in person/video conference/ teleconference, gather information at site, and identify customer s needs for projects

To formulate cost build-ups

To review technical content of Purchase Orders

To prepare, submit and discussion of commercial offer

To Collect payment, C-Form, ABG, PBG

To do business development and create new customer
