Job Summary Job Description :

Position Title: Material Planning Officer/Executive - Exports

Function: Replenishment

Key Stakeholders:

Internal: Export Manager, National Demand Planning & Export Manager, Head of Replenishment, Planning Team, Purchase Team, R&D team etc.

External: Vendors & Suppliers

Educational Qualification: Graduation/ Post Graduation in Management (preferably)

Experience: At least 5-6 years of relevant experience in Material Planning, Production Planning preferably with FMCG background. System based MRP implementation exposure will be added advantage

Desired Competencies:

  • Good communication skill
  • Good Understanding of the Key materials Planning processes (MRP Explosion, BOM Changes, Transitions, Inventory Norms Design)
  • Strong logical reasoning & analytical capability.
  • Deals with ambiguity
  • Influencing & Networking skills
  • SAP knowledge & efficient in excel

    • Key Responsibilities:

    Materials Planning:

  • Monthly/Bimonthly ordering or materials (RM/PM)
  • Design and Maintenance of RM/PM inventory norms. Adherence of norms.
  • Evaluation of Plan changes to revise RMPM requirements
  • Timely management of Material shortfalls
  • Hit Miss Ratio Report of material delivery
  • Transitions Management of RMPM Inventories - Recipe changes, Pack Changes, New launches

    • SLOB:

  • Risk Analysis by identifying non-moving/slow moving materials
  • RCA on materials under risk ; Working on salvage plan to avoid write-offs

    • New projects and system developments:

  • Master data management
  • SAP development work
  • Driving SOPs in Export Function

    • Qualification :
    Graduate
    Experience Required :

    Minimum 30 Years
