The Job responsibilities are as follows: Coordinate the planning and scheduling of revisions to the Insure3 Information Product artifacts (which includes online help, user manuals, and reference guides) Research, extract information and grasp technical concepts by interviewing developers and users, and experiment with software Determine, develop and obtain source content (by interviewing developers and users, and experimenting with the software) necessary to create technical documentation Maintain internal writing standards across Insure3 product documentation Develop, maintain and reinforce layout standards and quality control guidelines Ensure that existing Insure3 information products are kept current and reflect changes made to the product. Edit / draw technical illustrations in the Insure3 Information Products Conduct content review, incorporate revisions and self edit documents for clarity and logical presentation
Minimum Requirements
We currently have a requirement for Technical Writer.An Ideal candidate should possess the following: Any Graduates. 3+ years Technical Writing experience, preferably in a software product development environment. 2+ years experience with large, complex, web-based, business transaction processing applications. Strong research and analytical skills (including the ability to interview subject matter experts), and the ability to structure and organize fragments of information from diverse sources Strong editorial skills: proofreading, copy and substantive editing. Proficient with industry standard tools: Adobe Acrobat, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Office, RoboHelp, and Microsoft Visio. University degree or College Diploma in Information Technology or related disciplines.
