Job Summary
BU Description/Position Description:
A GP Senior Sourcing Analyst plans and directs the daily activities of assigned categories within a particular BMC functional area, based on a mid-term work plan and set of objectives. S/he may be responsible for a range of goods and services, functional activity or geographical area.
A Senior Sourcing Analyst builds strong working relationships with business partners, professional peers, and other team members and equally strong operating relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders. S/he is a resource for colleagues with less experience (shares knowledge/has a level of expertise) in his/her category, although they may not report directly. S/he also makes proactive and thoughtful recommendations to GP leadership about the direction of the category.S/he ensures that effective contractual relationships are in place for external sourcing, which balances commercial arrangements with acceptable risk. S/he manages specific projects and initiatives, which improve GP efficiencies and add value to the business.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage operations in Non-Employee Labor (NEL) Category: set direction and monitor results; ensure priorities are clear and standards and delivery schedules are met; and remain informed of the services being provided
- Manage business partner relationships at a global level: to understand business issues and requirements; and to manage supplier/contractor relationships
- Working knowledge of Vendor Management system such as SAP Fieldglass (a cloud-based system to manage services procurement and external workforce management programs) is a must.
- Advanced level development of strategic short-term/long-term category/sub-category strategy for responsible areas
- Operations Analyst for NEL Category, and provides direction to GSMs, Specialists, and Management
- Understanding of Government driven and local norms of hiring in each specific region.
- Understanding of time-material and fixed-fee models of managing external workforce.
- Good to have experience in Oracle Contingent Worker Management Responsibility.
- Analytical acumen to design, maintain and publish quarterly score cards for all the critical suppliers
- Advanced/Expert ability in working with business and finance leaders to identify and drive savings and controllership improvements
- Maintain subject matt expertise in a particular supply chain specialty, in addition to adding second area of specialty, demonstrating the ability to present ideas and concepts to and influence GP management and business partners
- Strong ability to influence and steer highly ethical process with business partners and suppliers
- Promote innovation and continual improvement in GP operations
- Knowledge of basic BMC products, IT tools, Software, platforms across all verticals to understand in detail the scope document/requirement provided by stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skill (written as well as Oral) to interact with suppliers as well as stakeholders in different geographies.
- Willing to work in US time zone.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience/ Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, or closely related business field, advanced degree a plus
- 5-8 years professional work experience
- Multi-national work experience (in-country or in a support capacity) a plus
- Expert analytic skills and ability to conceptualize and develop strategies and build models for business-related concepts
- Proven track record and continually displays growth within managed category YoY
- Is trusted by Senior Management when making decisions and managing staff
- Ability to operate effectively in an environment with changing priorities and a level of ambiguity
- Demonstrated leadership capability
- Expert verbal and written communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver compelling business presentations
- Good organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure
