Job Summary Job Details Job Title: Scrum Master Function: Engineering Sub-Function: Engineering Level/Grade: E3 Position Description In this role, you will serve as a bridge between the engineering team and product team members, ensuring the successful execution of all project deliverables. You will be responsible for identifying, scoping, and delivering large end-to-end projects. Organizational Relationship Reporting To: Principal Program Manager Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Execution & Delivery: Track key internal tasks with committed deadlines from various stakeholders, monitoring progress periodically. Provide project support, including planning, tracking milestones, reporting progress, managing escalations, and organizing meetings. Participate in scrum teams as a product owner to define goals, set priorities, and manage the backlog. Establish criteria for final project delivery concerning the functionality of the solution. Drive teams in planning and executing roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs. Identify risks, resolve project conflicts, and establish resolution paths. Collaborate with engineering teams to define and implement quality standards, ensuring deliverables meet specifications and industry best practices. Maintain and write JIRA sprints/stories. Evaluate project outcomes, conduct post-project reviews, and identify opportunities for process improvement in future projects. Stakeholder Management: Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure program success. Develop partnerships with engineering and product management leaders to drive focus on strategic and tactical program objectives. Liaise with teams essential to delivering project management capabilities. Support cross-functional technical teams in achieving their objectives in fast-paced, complex projects. Maintain clear documentation of project progress, issues, and resolutions, providing regular reports to leadership and stakeholders. Knowledge, Certifications, and Experience Educational Qualifications: Graduate or postgraduate degree (technical backgrounds such as BE/B.Tech/M.Tech preferred). Total Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience leading medium to large-scale project teams. Experience in developing large-scale distributed data platforms, recommendation systems, big data pipelines, and analytical tools. Significant experience working with software engineering leadership and technical teams. Certifications: Preferred: Scrum Master Certification, PMP (Project Management Professional).
