Job Summary: Senior Service Engineer, Layer 2/3 Expert will be required to offer technical assistance for comprehensive project solutions based on market insights and the current product#s capability. Also, they will be required to supervise and control technical support for product improvement and quality issues with ensuring proper legal paperwork. This position will report to Solution Support Manager. Responsibilities: ##Visiting customers, bringing in current market information & customer information back to the sales team, creating customer files & providing technical support for complete project solutions based on market information and current product capability. ##Managing the day-to-day operations to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets at the team/staff level and to maintain overall quality standards##Support sales and solution consultants in the development and realization of technical solutions to meet customer requirements (e.g., PoC) ##Mapping high-level business problems onto technology solutions & serving as the Layer-2 technical point of contact for accounts and partners ##Execute technology workshops and training as per customer/project requirements ##Ensuring the training and development of your team & making sure that they always have comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the entire Belden product portfolio ##Cooperating with the business units in the region and strategic development Required Skills and Experience ##Education # 5-7 years of experience in Technical support, service, or after-sales in networking system solutions & B. Tech or Diploma in Electronics/Telecom/CS Engineering orrelated streams. ##Markets # Should have Hands on (CLI/GUI) experience in switching routing, security, and Wireless on Cisco/Juniper/HP etc. Having an experience in Industrial networking and IIoT/IoT digitalization knowledge would be an added advantage. Network technology expertise with the related IT highest certification is required. They should have a solid knowledge of the following areas: Routing - Static, route maps, OSPF and MPLS/EVPN, Firewall operation & capability in Layer 2/3 Network Design, deployment & optimization.
