Job Summary:
Identifies opportunities for business expansion in support of the customer sales strategy. Develops and maintains the business relationship by providing solutions for defined account(s) in a product line, to achieve the identified strategy and business financial objectives.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage Sales forecast and revenue targets
- Drive a team towards higher profitable growth
- Experience in IT Datacentre infrastructure, implementation & troubleshooting skills on multiple vendors of Computes (Servers & chassis), Storages (EMC, Dell & HP) and Fabric switches (Brocade & Cisco).
- Strong techno-commercial understanding of technology offerings from various OEMs
- Skills around Data Centre consolidation, TCO, ROI Analysis, Capex/ Opex Models
- Architecture Assessment, Virtualization Technologies, Disaster Recovery Solution skills
- Expert in In depth technical product analysis and compliance with competitions
- Possess in-depth knowledge of proposal preparation, bid management and collateral preparation.
- Skilled in reviewing proposals, managing projects, providing estimates and recommending the best product solutions.
- Experience in IT Distribution Sales & Marketing, Channel Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Relationship Management & Product Management.
- Experience on mapping of different type of Partners Retailer, Reseller, System Integrator, VAR s etc.
- Submitting reports to suppliers and Management weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly
- Have experience in organizing events, seminars, tech days marcom activities.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for brand product, technology solutions and/or offerings for assigned customers.
- Responsible for the execution of the strategic customer growth plans and business relationships in assigned account(s) by providing value added solutions.
- Identifies and creates opportunity demand for products, coordinating the supporting seminars, training and resource awareness to assigned customers, and that drives growth plan success in the targeted accounts.
- Performs analysis and reports results of various program impact for identified customer(s) notifying the account manager of success, issues and future growth plan strategies.
- Maintains and drives trending knowledge of products, competitors, technology and customers in the assigned supplier product market.
- Identifies and maintains field supplier relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Manages experienced, professional employees and/or supervisors; and/or manages large, complex technical and/or business support teams. Accountable for the performance and results of a team and/or department.
- Interprets and administers policies, processes and procedures that affect direct reports and the workflow of the team/department. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Contributes to budget development and performance standards of department and direct reports.
- Assignments are defined in the form of objectives. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, business plans and independent judgment.
- Collaborates with team(s), customers/ clients, functional peer group managers and occasionally senior management. Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives.
- Decisions may have impact on work processes and outcomes. Erroneous decisions or recommendations may result in serious delays and considerable expenditures of additional time, people and/or financial resources.
Work Experience:
- Typically 6+ years including 2+ years of supervisory experience
Education and Certification(s):
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
