Azure Data Platform Architect Job in Aventra Digital Pvt. Ltd.

Role Description We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Data Platform Cloud Solution Architect to drive high priority customer initiatives on the Microsoft Data Platform in collaboration with customers and technology partners. This is a customer facing role, owning overall technical relationship between customer and Microsoft Data Platform (on premises and Azure). You will own the Azure infrastructure technical customer engagements providing subject matter expertise including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or pilots. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers to drive core Infrastructure solutions and Data-Centre migrations. Work Experience Preferred Experience:- Azure Data Platform Architect - 5 ~ 8 years' working experience. With relevancies as follows:- Mining, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Governance. Minimum 4+ years of experience in Big Data, Workflow and Task Management for Master Data Management Technologies. 5+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects). Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solution to the cloud. Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives and growing data platform shares in large or highly strategic accounts. Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management and developers). Good experience in modern data platform components such as the Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark, Python, Scala, etc. Experience in handling multi structure data is required. Demonstrated experience in modern API platform design including how modern UIs are built consuming services / APIs. Technical Experience:- Breadth of technical experience and knowledge as well as depth in 1 or 2 of the following areas: Commercial and Open Source on-premises and in-cloud. Database architecture, ETL, Data. Skills & Competencies Requirements Preferred skills as follows:- Knowledge of using advance technologies like AI/ML in context of data orchestration. Knowledge Azure Data Platform technologies like Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, etc. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly. Deep understanding of data platform technologies, upgrading to modern SQL Server releases, migrating competitive databases to SQL Server, Cortana Intelligence, Microsoft BI technologies, and emerging computing trends. Good Understanding of various database system - SQL and NO SQL. Excellent documentation skills to develop high level and low-level design documents. Excellent presentation and persuasion skills to present technical architecture. Knowledge & Experience about Maritime and Marine Shipping Industry will be a big plus. Qualifications Desirable & a plus if have as the following:- BSc/MSc in IT, Computer Science or Equivalent
