Job Summary

Desired Profile:

M.Sc. / MBA with 5-7 years experience.

Job Description, Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Handle procurement activities across the organization which includes sourcing, price negotiations, creation of purchase orders in SAP for lab chemicals, bulk procurement, biology reagents, MRO and CapEx.
  • Follow up with vendors till delivery, payments and closure of the process.
  • Identify vendors with a conscious effort towards cost & lead time reduction in procurement of general/challenging reagents.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of day to day purchase operations.
  • Implementation of cost and lead time reduction initiatives.
  • Vendor creation and new vendor development.
  • MIS reporting and analysis of individual functions under SCM.
  • Ensure compliance as per purchasing guidelines, state and national regulations.
  • Ensure up to date documentation as per audit guidelines.
