The candidate must be able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced/dynamic atmosphere. This position requires a strong team ethic working with both technical and business team members. This is a hands-on Assistant Manager/Senior Lead QA role which will be responsible for testing as well as managing a teams of testers

  • Have accountability for planning, execution, oversight and reporting of testing events and relays any risks, issues or timeline changes to leadership and stakeholder
  • Oversee all areas of QA including establishing metrics, applying best practices and developing new tools and processes
  • Provide oversight and direction for functional and technical test events (i.e. Automation, Database Testing, Functional Testing)
  • Implement testing status reports with QA metrics and drives improved automation test coverage across Releases
  • Work with Agile teams to understand features, triage and troubleshoot issues, identify causes and solutions
  • Champion and educate teams on use of Agile best-practices, processes and tools in support of testing processes
  • Help identify test automation candidates/scope
  • Develop and implement plan to guide testers in obtaining test certifications and other advanced testing skill sets

Skills and qualifications

  • Should have 9-12 years of experience
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Ability to manage and oversee large testing initiatives, while managing scope and timelines
  • Successful performance in a previous QA lead role for onshore/offshore delivery model
  • Experience managing test resources
  • Working knowledge of test management system e.g. Azuer Test Manager
  • Hands on experience in ETL Testing, Automation Testing (API, UFT/Selenium, CI/CD) is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC, Release Management and Project Life Cycle methodologies
  • Outstanding attention to detail, and time / project management skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent documentation and written communication abilities
  • Must be able to work in fast paced delivery environment
