Job Summary
Role and Responsibilities In this position, you will have the opportunity to ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and compliance of purchasing and logistics activities within the Procurement function to support our business operations. Each day, you will execute assigned tasks in accordance with ABB's standard procedures. You will also demonstrate your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as necessary to ensure compliance and promote professional development. The work model for this role is: #LI-Onsite. This position contributes to the Motion Large Motors division in Vadodara, Gujarat, and you will report to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager. Key Responsibilities: Execute purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. Design and implement effective local sourcing plans and strategies to achieve business targets. Assist in implementing local sourcing strategies aligned with the business strategy to meet current and future requirements. Apply and implement procurement standards, tools, and processes within your area of responsibility to ensure quality, delivery, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. Monitor procurement processes and activities, creating and updating reports as required, in accordance with ABB standards. Resolve issues related to procurement costs, quality, and delivery within your assigned area. Track internal and supplier performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and address quality issues through appropriate development actions. Execute and implement changes related to purchasing and logistics within your area of responsibility. Deliver and participate in training programs as needed to ensure compliance and encourage professional development. Facilitate effective and transparent communication both internally and externally, as well as between different units and centers. This role is graded at GGS 14. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in Planning and Fulfillment. Experience in Budget and Performance Management. Proven expertise in Supply Chain Management and Supplier Relationship Management. Strong interest in Order Handling, Procurement, and Fulfillment. Core competency in Customer Satisfaction. Proficiency in English communication.
Qualification : BE/BTECH Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in Planning & Fulfillment.
