Job Description
Director - Engineering Would you like to be a game changer with our client? Our client is known for undertaking strategic initiatives to work across digital products and platforms to help its customers across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. You will be responsible for multiple projects delivery, people management and customer satisfaction. Role -->Acts as the managing point of contact for the client for all aspects of activity in the engagement. -->Communicates with project managers and business sponsors to prioritize and schedule delivery based on resource allocation. -->Ensures projects are staffed and tracked appropriately and conform to the development methodology. -->Ensures Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other guidelines/procedures are followed for internal and external change requests. -->Proposes projects for process improvement, technical enhancements, and cost savings efforts Responsible for all staff development and growth of next generation leadership from existing team. -->Ensuring Practice and engagement compliance, training, testing and marketing requirements have been met. -->Will have total responsibility and be held accountable for each engagement s success. -->Work along with the Marketing plan and strategies. Competencies Technical /Functional and Managerial 1. Must have excellent knowledge in Spring, Hibernate, and WebSerives area. 2. strong understanding & implementation knowledge of JAVA / J2EE design patterns. 3. Must have worked in architecting and designing products. 4. Strong XML and hands on Java development skills required.
