Job Summary

Role Overview: Planning, Evaluation, Assessment & Management (PEAM) Team Lead

Arcadis is looking for a skilled PEAM Team Lead to join the Global Excellence Centre (GEC), a hub of over 3,000 talented professionals in India, Romania, and the Philippines, supporting projects worldwide. As a member of the GEC, you will help drive successful project outcomes and foster service excellence, while working in close collaboration with our global teams. Your role will involve managing and guiding the PEAM team, overseeing data collection, analysis, and documentation of scientific and technical datasets. You will also contribute to the development of innovative solutions that align with Arcadis values and client needs, promoting a culture of diversity, inclusion, and well-being within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Team Leadership: Lead and manage assigned projects, including planning, resource allocation, and ensuring the timely delivery of work. Monitor team and subcontractor performance to identify issues and drive resolutions.

  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work collaboratively with other sectors and disciplines to ensure seamless integration of solutions and designs across projects.

  • Quality Assurance & Reporting: Review and quality-assure project outputs such as reports, documentation, and specifications to ensure they meet or exceed client expectations and comply with national standards and Arcadis requirements.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with their objectives. Communicate progress, changes, and resolve issues effectively.

  • Team Development: Provide guidance, coaching, and technical advice to junior team members, supporting their professional development and enhancing their contribution to projects.

  • Industry Insight & Networking: Stay informed about the latest trends and regulations in urban planning, environmental impact assessments (EIA), and related sectors. Use this knowledge to contribute to the company s credibility and foster networking opportunities.

  • Health, Safety & Environment (SHE): Promote and positively contribute to the SHE agenda, ensuring a safe and inclusive working environment for the team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Background: A Master s degree (or equivalent) in Urban Planning, Design, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

  • Professional Development: Significant progress toward achieving Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation in a relevant field.

  • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of UK Town Planning regulations and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), with a proven track record of managing multiple Development Consent Order (DCO) submissions and EIA reports.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant desktop applications and software tools used for planning and environmental assessments.

  • Experience: At least 8-12 years of experience, with core expertise in town planning applications, EIA reporting, and managing complex projects in the UK.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

  • Project & Time Management: Excellent time management, organizational, and project management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Masters degree or equivalent in Urban Planning/ Design / Environmental Engineering
