Job Summary

Position: Senior Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant

Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida, Pune, Chennai (India)
Career Level: IC3 (Individual Contributor Level 3)

Role Overview:

As an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant, you will deliver high-quality functional and technical solutions to clients across Oracle HCM Cloud, Fusion HCM, Taleo, and On-prem applications like eBusiness Suite and PeopleSoft. You will have the opportunity to lead and execute end-to-end implementation projects, driving business transformation and optimizing client processes.

Your expertise in solution design, data migration, integration strategy, and cloud architecture will be critical in meeting complex client needs, ensuring seamless integrations, and delivering optimal business outcomes.

This role requires a blend of technical and consulting skills, the ability to manage teams, and a strong focus on customer success. You will also be expected to contribute to business development, build strong client relationships, and act as a subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Implementation Projects: Manage and drive end-to-end implementation of Oracle Cloud Fusion HCM for clients. Lead solution design, configuration, and integration efforts to meet business objectives.

  • Design Solutions: Design complex solutions for data migration, integration architecture, and process transformation. Develop and configure solutions using Oracle HCM tools such as HDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Reports, and Fast Formulas.

  • Functional & Technical Expertise: Apply expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud and related tools to address client requirements. Provide functional and technical leadership on moderately complex engagements.

  • Client Consultation: Interact effectively with customer management teams, acting as a trusted advisor to guide clients on best practices, methodology, and Oracle product features. Ensure that solutions align with customer needs and expectations.

  • Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead and mentor a team of consultants, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Provide guidance on solution design, problem-solving, and client engagement.

  • Business Development: Participate in business development activities, including proposal creation and client relationship management. Contribute to expanding the GSC s Oracle HCM consulting footprint.

  • Project Adaptability: Be flexible in taking on different roles across projects, from design and development to implementation and support. Contribute to the overall success of each project by adapting to varying project requirements and challenges.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel (50-75%) for client-facing engagements, workshops, and on-site implementations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of overall experience with HCM Applications, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Fusion HCM.

  • Implementation Expertise: At least 2 full-cycle end-to-end implementation engagements in Oracle Cloud Fusion HCM.

  • Solution Design: Strong expertise in solution design, with a deep understanding of how integrations impact other modules and applications. Ability to design complex data migration and integration strategies.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Oracle HCM tools such as HDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Reports, Fast Formulas, and Integration. Strong technical grasp of Oracle Cloud Fusion architecture and reporting tools.

  • Business Process Understanding: Solid understanding of HCM business processes and the ability to design solutions that align with client requirements.

  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent team leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and stakeholders.

  • Customer Handling: Strong customer handling and consulting skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Leadership: Prior experience leading teams and managing cross-functional teams in a consulting or implementation environment.

  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to different project situations and requirements, and take on roles as needed.

  • Domain Expertise: Experience in specific HCM domains (e.g., payroll, talent management, workforce management) is a plus.
