Job Summary

Roles & responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the implementation of Continuous Improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 8-D,Problem Solving, Fishbone Analysis, FMEA, 5S and Value Stream
  • Analysis to drive out waste and improve productivity & Improving Quality
  • Monitor existing processes to make sure they continue to perform at optimal levels of efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Warehousing Processes, IT Workflows (WMS ) , Small Automations, Workspace layout preparations, SOP Work Instruction, Safe Material Handling Processes
  • Expert in Time & Motion Study, Usage of Various Time measurement tools like MOST, MTM, Video Analysis,
  • Establish metrics to monitor financial savings as compared to established goals and targets.
  • Auditing experience would be good to have.
  • Teach others to lead improvement efforts, including training on effective tools for successful project leadership
  • Provides lean improvement orientation and on-the-job training for teammates and ensures that the responsibilities are defined and understood, and oversees the lean projects.
  • Identify needs relating to improvements in safety/ergonomics and assist in developing and implementing solutions to these issues.
  • Ensure that appropriate safety and ergonomic processes and methods are being utilized
  • Knowledge on Solution designing and different Warehousing Models.
  • Provide support to customers for operations value added initiatives.
  • Good Hands on knowledge on MS Access, Power point, MS Projects, Word, Auto CAD etc.
