Job Summary Overview: Apollo Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for prescription filling, customer service, cold chain management, and inventory management. You will play a critical part in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, providing expert advice to customers, and contributing to the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Key Responsibilities: Prescription Filling: Attend to doctor s prescriptions at the sales counter and advise patients on the proper dosage of prescribed medications. Dispense drugs based on a prescription issued by the doctor. If a prescribed medicine is unavailable, coordinate with in-house pharmacies to fulfill the prescription. Any substitution of medicines should be done after consultation with the doctor. Cross-check the prescribed medicines with the bill, verifying the patient s name, item names, quantities, expiry dates, and ensuring the accuracy of the prescription. Customer Service: Counsel patients/customers on their health concerns and the potential reactions of medicines. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and doctors. Maintain and follow-up on free home delivery orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medicines. Handle inbound calls, primarily focused on drug information, patient counseling, and free home delivery orders, while addressing any patient queries regarding drug therapy or drug information. Assist with billing counter duties and cash handling when required. Cold Chain Management: Ensure that drugs requiring refrigeration are stored under the proper conditions, maintaining safety and security. Inventory Management & Sales: Enter stock data into the computer system and generate receipts for verification with the list of items issued from stores. Track and maintain records of out-of-stock items, following up to ensure stock availability. Conduct regular stock checks to ensure 100% accuracy of physical stock, categorizing items (Tablets, Syrups, Injections, Ointments, etc.) twice a week. Perform daily rack-wise verification of fast-moving items. Ensure proper hand-over of shift duties before leaving the work area and facilitate smooth transitions. Focus on sales and actively strive to meet pharmacy sales targets. Verify the quantity, MRP, batch number, and expiry date of received items and perform bill management. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the in-charge, as per work exigencies. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary with benefits and attractive incentives based on performance. Qualifications: D. Pharm / B. Pharm qualification required. Valid PCI License or awaiting PCI License (as applicable). Experience: Freshers or candidates with relevant pharmacy retail experience are welcome to apply. Skills: Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including drug interactions and patient counseling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service and sales targets. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and inventory management capabilities.

D. Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm registered with the PCI ONLY
