About You

You are a seasoned analog design engineer with a passion for innovation and solving complex technical challenges. With a solid foundation in electrical engineering and extensive experience in integrated circuit (IC) design, you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy leading projects from concept to completion.
Your expertise spans high-speed PHY designs such as SERDES, DDR, or HBM, and you have a deep understanding of transistor-level circuit design and CMOS fundamentals. You excel at optimizing designs for power, area, and performance while guiding and mentoring junior engineers. Your knowledge of reliability and layout effects ensures robust, high-quality designs that meet the most stringent industry standards.

What You ll Be Doing

  • Reviewing SerDes standards to develop top-level and sub-block specifications for analog designs.
  • Leading projects and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Refining circuit architectures to achieve optimal power, area, and performance targets.
  • Proposing design and verification strategies to ensure high-quality designs using advanced simulation techniques.
  • Overseeing physical layout to minimize the impact of parasitics, device stress, and process variations.
  • Reviewing and presenting simulation data for peer and customer reviews.
  • Defining and documenting design features and test plans.
  • Proposing post-silicon design updates and improvements.

What You ll Need

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (BSEE with 8+ years of experience, or MSEE/PhD with 7+ years).
  • Expertise in high-speed PHY design such as SERDES, DDR, or HBM.
  • Familiarity with circuits like PLL/DLL, Voltage Regulators, data converters, Equalizers, and Impedance calibrators.
  • In-depth experience with transistor-level circuit design and strong CMOS fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with SPICE simulators and simulation methods.
  • Experience with schematic entry, physical layout, and design verification tools.
  • Knowledge of Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling and simulation-control/data-capture.
