Job description:

• This person is responsible for end to end delivery of all design projects, starting at interacting with key stakeholders to gather requirements, analysing available data & information to conceptualize and conceive the best possible design. The role requires managing a small team of experienced UI designers, delivering flawless execution and ability to convert the ideas of the customers into forms and shapes and offer creative and cognitive solutions.
• Develop and maintain a UI roadmap to work with fellow designers, product management and tech teams in planning for and implementing the vision
• Understand user behavior and business requirements for designing visual graphics for primarily for mobile.
• Manage the design operation along with leading a team of experienced UI designers.
• Create frameworks and heuristics for the design team.
• Spearhead simple and robust front-end implementation and also ensure that the final product satisfies user needs and goals
• Based on understanding of customer needs, develop result oriented UI design/information/interaction design, delivered as prototypes- as prescribed in the methodology
• Adhere to process or methodology or best practices and user experience guidelines
  Leading & maintaining design systems, documentation, processes.

Requirement / Desired Skills:

• 7-14 years of experience as a UI designer designing Apps. Strong Knowledge and expertise in User Research, HCI, Visual Designs, Interaction Design.
• Experience in Product Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Software User Interface Design, New Media Design.
• Detailed knowledge of UX guidelines & standards
• Obsessed with being pixel-perfect and are well-versed with platform design guidelines (Material design, iOS guidelines etc).Ability to communicate concepts/prototypes to the stakeholders and end users
• Experience in managing design teams, UI processes and best practices, stakeholder management
• Soft Skills: Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning
• An elaborate and consolidated portfolio showcasing your work and skills.

Preferred qualification:

• Mobile application UI, UI and UX understanding, should be a great interface designer, requirement gathering, good communications, photoshop would be preffred
• Design School education would be preferred. Example: NID, Pearl Academy, NIFT etc
• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), CXA certification preferred. Any other usability certification / education
