The Amazon Connectivity Solutions Group (CSG) is part of the Amazon Devices team, which designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Kindle family of products. We have also produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Dash, and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create?


The Role:
As a Sr. Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative consumer products. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open, collaborative peer environment.

You will be responsible for the managing program launches and driving roadmap planning and deliverables across multiple verticals. This person is business-oriented and is responsible for the development and implementation of the product plan. S/he will be responsible for capturing, documenting, and communicating throughout all stages of the product family's lifecycle. You will also:
Work closely with Management and the engineering team to define and provide product requirements for the product
Combine tactical roadmaps and requirements into a compelling product and evangelize that vision within the organization
Help determine and drive buy/build/partner solutions for components as necessary
Identify new business opportunities and write PR/FAQs
Responsibilities:
Build a superior customer experience.
Define and achieve holistic product objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product managers, developers, and designers.
Develop and provide thought leadership in the user experience across devices.
Leverage available insights like market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings.
Advocate for the customer and user-centered design in a corporate environment.
Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, detailed visual mockups and prototypes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree with a technical discipline
Knowledge of either OTT apps, CDN, advertising frameworks and products
Android and iOS application and device experience
A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree or advanced technical degree, MBA preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively to senior management, peers and team members
A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect with superb conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience building products for media companies
