DESCRIPTION
At START we are building the future of how Amazon operators will find, learn, and apply the knowledge they need to raise the bar in their work every day. We are looking for a Program Manager to join our fast-paced team of former operators and subject matter experts to help us deploy our learning management system. Wed love someone with a deep operations background, a mind for synthesis, and a love of working in ambiguous situations with numerous stakeholders. If that sounds exciting to you, read on.
START is launching a LMS, in Q1 of 2021. To help ensure its success, we need someone who is eager to work with our internal customers in dozens of internal organizations across the globe to help them get the most value out of the new platform. This person will need a deep understanding of Amazon operations and a desire to help our operation customers succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with subject matter experts on the creation, organization, and maintenance of operator-facing training and content
Coordinate ownership and governance of areas of information and responsibility between global stakeholder organizations
Drive product conversations based on needs and problems learned during customer interactions
Respond to customer requests while continuing to educate our customers on the use of the platform
Develop mechanisms for learning and content creators to reliably produce high quality, verified training
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Excellent written communication
Systems thinker: desire and ability to learn how the knowledge and governance processes of different learning teams and end-users interconnect, relate, and act within the START ecosystem
Systems builder: skill in designing workflows and processes that will be used by organizations with very different internal processes and needs
Methodical attention to detail: you have checklists for your checklists, and take pleasure in maintaining excellence and high standards
Relentless relationship builder: understands their highest leverage is working through others, and anticipates problems before they arise
Great program management skills with experience in influencing others outside of direct line of reporting, and drive cross-functional results
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Responds to customer feedback and demonstrates bias for action in resolving outstanding issues
Communicates and presents ideas and concepts effectively by email, phone, and in-person
Builds and maintains strong relationships with key operational stakeholders
Amazon Operations experience
Previous experience working on a distribution team
