Process Specialist Job in Amazon

DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking a Process Specialist to join our Amazon Alexa Applied Modeling and Data Science team. This role focuses on
automating processes for language data, primarily in the areas of grammars, text annotation, and general localization deliverables.

The Process Specialist must be capable of:
Building a thorough understanding of the internal processes and providing automation support.
Creating and maintaining automated metrics for the team.
Identifying and eliminating bugs
Delivering high quality data output under aggressive deadlines
Working autonomously with minimal direction
Automating unique data analysis requests from a range of data customers
Contributing to process improvements to reduce handling time and improve data output
Diving deep into issues and implement solutions independently
Providing quality expertise to other team members and coaching improvements
In addition, the Process Specialist will need to quickly understand changes in response to
customers requests and change workflows accordingly. The Process Specialist must have a
passion for data, efficiency, and accuracy as well as:
Show proactive efforts in addressing issues and problems
Excellent communication, strong organizational skills and very detailed-oriented
Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
Willingness to support several projects at one time, and to accept re-prioritization as necessary
Ability to keep up with changing project conventions and priorities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Native level fluency in Hindi, both written and verbal.
Business level fluency in English, both written and verbal
Experience in database management.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Aptitude to train in and take on dynamic and advanced level tasks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

B.Tech or BCA degree
Experience with the programming languages like Python, C++, etc.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Independent, proactive, and self-motivated with record in timely delivery of requests
Ability to quickly grasp theoretical concepts and develop in-house user-interface tools based on these concepts
Experience with command line tools
Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented attitude
