The role of the DMS Deployment Engineer will be:
- follow the tool development and manuals definition in order to ensure the DMS can be easily deployed for:
#factory tests done by solutions
#for site testing done by Alstom
# for customer or Alstom service team maintenance activities on site (e.g. changing SW or data version)
- make sure that the configuration parameters to be captured if used by an external systems, these shall be defined at system level in the GenericADM Data model.
The aim is to avoid any discrepancy between DMS and the equipment which are being monitored, an example of discrepancy are the protocol parameters which have not the same name between server and client.

Candidate must have the following experience:
- Past experience in product development and particularly in integration activities
- Past experience in configuration tools specification or development.
- Network Configuration
- XML Configuration, Scripting(Power Shell, Any other scripting knowledge), C#, Windows, Linux
- Configuring VM(Virtual Machine)
- Protocols knowledge on HTTP(s), SNMP(v2/v3) other proprietary protocol will be add on.
- Interfacing with the required stakeholders.
- Good communication skills.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

Bachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering IT, CS, ECE & EEE or Equivalent

Technical Competencies & Experience

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Configuration and deployment .
• Knowledge of any configuration management tool and workflow management tool is essential (ex. ClearCase, ClearQuest, ...)
• Awareness of any one of these SDLC models - SCRUM, V-model
• Knowledge in Railway Signaling Domain is a huge advantage

Behavioral Competencies

• Ability to work as an independent contributor and communicate directly with customer
• Be Innovative and define developer level test scenarios, and reusable solutions
• Ability to prepare software requirements specification, and architect description documents with the help of the software architect.

Ability to learn quickly the technology domain.
