Job Summary
Qualification :
Allscripts is searching for a network engineer with solid Cisco and Palo Alto Networks experience. This position will be responsible for administering a WAN infrastructure consisting of a large number of IPSec connections. The position requires excellent IPSec troubleshooting skills and a thorough understanding of NAT configurations. Experience with dynamic routing using BGP and EIGRP protocols. Additionally, Perl/Python/SQL/JavaScript/CSS skills will be helpful when assisting other members of the technology team. Occasional on-call responsibilities will be required. The applicant should be prepared to participate in decision-making on broader information architecture and design questions.
Qualification :
- Cisco routing infrastructure 7k and 9k Catalyst switched
- IPSec configurations and troubleshooting (required)
- Experience working with Palo Alto firewall policy sets
- Dynamic routing BGP and EIGRP protocols
- Bind administration (DNS: caching, authoritative, views, etc.)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administrator
- Strong experience in command line Unix/Linux environments
- Ability to read the manual and self-teach
- Willing to work 8 am - 5 pm EST (Eastern Standard Time)
