Principal - Business Analyst Job in Affine Transformation

Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Intelligence and Insights Business Analytics professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business analytics, with core competencies in Snowflake, Tableau, SQL, process automation, and technical processes. As a Senior Intelligence and Insights Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive strategic initiatives. Design, develop, and implement advanced analytics solutions using Snowflake, Tableau, and SQL to create insightful visualizations, reports, and dashboards. Lead the analysis of large and complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that provide actionable recommendations for business improvements. Translate business needs into technical requirements for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Develop and maintain automated processes to streamline data workflows, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and reporting. Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data sources, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize data infrastructure. Technical Capabilities: Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analytics, with a focus on data analysis, visualization, and process automation Proven expertise in Snowflake, Tableau, and SQL, with the ability to create complex data models, queries, and visualizations. Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration principles, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Experience in technical process development and automation using programming languages (e.g., Python, R, etc.). Utilize expert-level knowledge of Snowflake and Tableau to design and develop comprehensive, interactive dashboards and reports that provide deep insights into business performance and trends. Take ownership of the AGILE process, leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ensuring timely delivery of analytics solutions. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with technical teams to optimize data infrastructure, ensuring smooth data flows, system performance, and data security. Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
